"I take great pride in the Hosea family name and the reputation we have built in
the last 100 years. We are one of the most recognized and successful movers in
the world, and we are confident in saying that "we are the best at what we do".
Our mission to you is to make your move merely a change of address. After all,
our name depends on it. If we haven’t moved it, they haven’t made it.

Our company was built from very humble beginnings.  My Grandfather and
Father established the vision of the company by rebuilding machine tools, and
shipping them to war-torn Japan and Europe.  Their drive and entrepreneurial
spirit laid the foundation for the company that my family and I are so proud of
today.
FROM THE DESK OF DAVID HOSEA:
I learned the family business from my Father.  In the summer of 1965, I
apprenticed for the company.  At that time, we were export packing 300 to 500
machine tools per month.  In the 60’s, Cincinnati was known as the machine tool
capital of the world.  We handled almost every machine shop’s exports.  I am
very prideful of my apprenticeship with the company during this time.   It instilled
me with a drive and work ethic that my wife Marcia and I share to this day, and
have passed along to all of our children.

As our export packing business increased, we realized that it was good
business sense to maximize profitability by entering the logistics portion of the
export business.  We started the trucking and foreign freight forwarding
operation.  Soon thereafter, we became one of the largest forwarding
companies in the world.  To better match our business functions, we changed
our name to Hosea International.

Throughout the 60’s and 70’s we continued to grow our freight forwarding
operation.  We continued to branch out and explore other business
opportunities.  As we gained exposure with more export companies, we learned
that there was a need for project movers.  We started with some smaller
projects, established a proven system of project moving, and then moved on to
larger projects.  We decided that this was the direction that we wanted to send
the company, and in 1983 we decided to sell off the trucking and foreign freight
forwarding operation.

In 1984, Hosea Worldwide was formed.  Our success as a project mover was no
secret, and we were contacted to move a division of International Harvester to
England.  This is still the single largest industrial move project to date.

In 1985, my only son, D. Todd Hosea joined me to take our company to the next
level.  Our project moving company was taking off, and we needed our own
internal logistics company.  We started Todd Transportation, and alongside
Hosea Worldwide, we later renamed our company Hosea Project Movers.

In the early 90’s, my son-in-law, Mick Abner joined the company.  He brought
with him a vast knowledge in commercial and residential rehabbing.  By bringing
his experience on board, we broadened our rehabbing horizons and expanded
our furniture, shelving, and pallet rack divisions.

In the late 90’s, we rounded out our offering by launching our industrial painting
division.  In our state-of-the-art paint booths, we are able to accommodate the
cleaning and painting of any size piece of equipment.  No machine is too large
or small; we can make your old equipment look like new.

We have invested in over 1.5 million square feet of warehouse space.  This
complements our project moving capabilities as we are able to accommodate
and stage large projects and handle our customers’ distribution needs.

In 1999, we elected to do all of our own in-house electrical and mechanical work,
thus making Hosea the only true in-house project mover.  By having all of the
functions of project moving under one roof, we offer the only truly synergized
solution in the industry.

In 2001, my new son-in-law, Kevin Orme joined the company.  He brought with
him extensive experience in project management.  His experience fulfilled a
need in our organization, and he became our Storage Solutions Manager.  He
helped organize and establish our own permanently staged installation crews in
Mexico.  In 2003, we added our plant liquidation division, and set up our own
permanent installation crews in Shanghai, China.  Most recently, we have added
our own Industrial and Commercial demolition divisions, and our Dumpster and
Roll-off Division.

We are very proud of our growth and expansion over our history, and we are
ecstatic about the future.  On behalf of my immediate family and our family of
employees, I am proud to say that WE are the BEST Project Movers in the
Country!"
