Safety Program

The management of Hosea Worldwide, Inc. Group of Companies has always been very much aware of the fact that our most important assets are the employees who work for us. Without the skills and talents of our employees, we would not be the successful service company we are in today's marketplace.

For this reason, our company both promotes and requires a strong program of Accident Prevention. Since industrial injury statistics indicate that approximately 90% of all on the job accidents are caused by the unsafe act of an individual, we stress the necessity of proper job instructions by those in a supervisory capacity and subsequent follow-up to determine that those instructions receive compliance. For the purpose of promoting safety awareness, regularly scheduled safety meetings are conducted with all employees.

To better recognize and eliminate hazards that may exist on the job site, a Safety Checklist is utilized. Those items that are observed during this inspection that require correction receive immediate attention. An inspection program is also followed involving all of our tools and equipment. These inspections are performed once a week by the job foreman.

Although we realize that our primary objective is the prevention of accidents, we are also prepared in the event of an accident. There is an established procedure for providing medical attention when required. Accidents are investigated and reported in order that those conditions causing the accident can be corrected to prevent a reoccurrence.

It is our policy to completely cooperate with all Federal, State and local agencies whose responsibility it is to enforce the prevention of accidents at the work site. We diligently attempt to fulfill our responsibility to comply with the laws and codes set forth by these agencies.
